7 Promotional Ideas For Success
When working on the internet, whether you sell products or your services, you need to do proper promotion so that your message can get out there.
Here are 7 promotional ideas to help you get started.
- Hold a contest. A lot of people like contest and love to tell their friends about them as well. Create a contest around the topic of your product or service and give it away to whoever wins the contest.
- Give free samples out to potential clients/customers. If your product is something that you can cut in half, then offer potential customers a free version of it. Show them how good the free version is.
- Use social networking. Use Twitter, Facebook, and many of the other social networking sites and build up a following of people who might be interested in what you have to offer. Talk to them and build up a good relationship with them.
- Use forums. There’s a forum out there for every type of market, go find a good one and start becoming a vital part of the community there.
- Submit press releases. Write down the major benefits and interesting information about your product or service, then make it into a press release and submit it to PR sites.
- Guest blog post. Find and contact blog site owners who write on the topic of your product and ask them if you can write an original guest blog post that they can post on their blog.
- Build your list. Having a list to promote your products to can be very lucrative. Start building one today.

All great ways to promote Joel, There are 3 on your list that I have yet to do tackle. Those are numbers 4, 5 and 6 . I’ll have to add them to my schedule
All of you ideas are good ones, but I would add a caveat that most people would do better to focus on a couple of them until they master the technique and then more on to others. Which you start with is less important than the fact that you take action and start with one or more of them.
